Associate Professor Teresa Abada, Department of Sociology, Faculty of Social Science, Western University, researches migration, immigrant integration, population studies, immigrant health, and the economic and social integration of children of immigrants. Her research focus is how social, cultural, and human capital shape the lives of immigrant families and second-generation Canadians. She teaches Population Studies, Investigating the Social World: Quantitative Research, Migration, and Sociology of Religion, and she supervises graduate research in migration at Western University.
