Dr. Stein is an Associate Professor in the Department of Paediatrics at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, Western University and is the Division Head of Paediatric Endocrinology at Children’s Hospital.  Dr. Stein joined Children's Hospital in August of 2003. He completed his B.Sc. at McGill University in 1993 and continued on to obtain his MD in 1997.

Dr. Stein completed a general paediatric residency program at the Montreal Children's Hospital and then began a three year fellowship in paediatric endocrinology training at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. During this time, in 2001, Dr. Stein received the FRCP in Paediatrics.

Dr. Stein serves as Assistant Dean, Learner Equity & Wellness for the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry. He is also the medical director for Camp Discovery, a summer camp for children with Type 1 diabetes
