Dr. Fraser is a Professor and Clinician Scientist in the Departments of Pediatrics, Physiology & Pharmacology, and Clinical Neurological Sciences. He holds the GSK Chair in Clinical Pharmacology. Dr. Fraser practices in Pediatric Critical Care and Trauma Medicine and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Dr. Fraser is Director of the Translational Research Centre, a human tissue biobank that has operated continuously for more than 15 years. He has received multiple Research Innovation Awards and is the inventor on numerous patents that have been successfully filed and commercialized. Dr. Fraser is also a Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer of several biotechnology companies, including NeuroLytixs and Repurpose X.

Dr. Fraser completed his MD/PhD in the Department of Physiology and Biophysics at University of Calgary. He received a Strategic Training Fellowship from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, along with several international research awards from the "American Academy of Pediatrics" and the "Society for Pediatric Research". He was later named “Scientist of the Year” by the Lawson Health Research Institute and “Researcher of the Year” by Western University. Dr. Fraser has also received multiple awards from the Ontario Innovation Committee and the Vanguard Society recognizing his innovation and entrepreneurial leadership.
