Lecturer Taslim Moosa in the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Western University, Faculty of Health Sciences, focuses on neurogenic and related adult speech and language disorders, school age to adult fluency disorders, augmentative and alternative communication, speech, language, and communication in First Nations Communities, and social justice in clinical and professional development. Her work bridges clinical education, communication disorders, and community-responsive practice. Her research and teaching mission is to prepare speech-language pathology learners for equitable, culturally responsive care. She supervises graduate students and teaches clinical practicum, augmentative and alternative communication, and professional practice.
