Associate Professor Michael Naish is a member of the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering at Western University. His research portfolio includes robotics, mechatronics, and surgical technology, focusing on the development of smart tools for healthcare. He concentrates on the design and control of robotic systems that assist in rehabilitation and minimally invasive surgery. Having earned a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Toronto, he is cross-appointed to the School of Biomedical Engineering. He supervises students in the Bone and Joint Institute and is currently available for graduate inquiries regarding automation and the integration of sensing and actuation in medical devices.
