Assistant Professor Daniel Breadner, Department of Oncology, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, leads research in clinical research, liquid biopsies, cancer genomics/targeted therapy, neoadjuvant and window of opportunity treatment, and thoracic and gastrointestinal oncology. His work connects molecular tumour profiling with treatment design and early response assessment in solid tumours. His research mission is to make cancer treatment more precise by using genomics and circulating tumour DNA to guide decision-making. He also serves as Molecular Tumour Board Chair, and Western University sources note recent recognition and funding for his research.
