BIO
Assistant Dean and Associate Professor Sheila T. F. Moodie in the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders and the National Centre for Audiology at Western University, Faculty of Health Sciences, researches family-centred early intervention, knowledge translation, implementation science, counseling families and children, and changing practice behaviour through co-production. Her work supports children who are D/deaf or hard of hearing and the families and clinicians who care for them. Her research mission is to move evidence into clinical practice in ways that improve family support and hearing outcomes. She supervises graduate students and directs the Family-centred early intervention lab.
