Associate Professor Roya Etemad-Rezai holds joint appointments in Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine and Medicine at Western University. Her research focuses on abdominal and pelvic imaging, specifically investigating radiologic-pathologic correlations in oncological cases. She evaluates the efficacy of advanced magnetic resonance imaging for diagnosing hepatobiliary and genitourinary disorders. Her mission is to advance diagnostic accuracy through the integration of multimodal imaging and clinical data. Dr. Etemad-Rezai provides extensive clinical supervision and is involved in postgraduate radiology education. She focuses on the development of precise imaging protocols to guide surgical and oncological interventions.
