BIO

Professor John Nassichuk, Department of French Studies, Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Western University, researches French and Latin Renaissance letters in Europe, humanism, relations between Quattrocento Italy and the northern Renaissance, and biblical paraphrases, rewritings, and adaptations in Latin and vernacular languages. His research mission is to trace how Renaissance humanism travels across languages, regions, and literary forms. Nassichuk also teaches literature and graduate seminars in Renaissance studies, including work on Montaigne, and his recent book on Homeric imitation underscores an internationally engaged research profile at Western University.
