Associate Professor Ida Bruni, Department of Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, works on airway management, perioperative emergencies, vascular surgery, simulation and anesthesia education. Her research mission is to improve patient safety by using simulation and focused perioperative education to prepare clinicians for rare but dangerous events. She also teaches through Western University’s acute critical care simulation initiatives.
