Associate Professor Lisa Hoffman is a researcher in the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology at Western University. Her primary investigative work centers on molecular imaging, cell therapy, and muscular dystrophy with a focus on developing treatments for muscle wasting diseases. She seeks to understand the signaling pathways that govern stem cell differentiation and tissue repair in musculoskeletal disorders. Holding a Doctor of Philosophy from Western University, she is cross-appointed to the Department of Medical Biophysics.
