Associate Professor Lisa Hoffman is a researcher in the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology at Western University. Her primary investigative work centers on molecular imaging, cell therapy, and muscular dystrophy with a focus on developing treatments for muscle wasting diseases. She seeks to understand the signaling pathways that govern stem cell differentiation and tissue repair in musculoskeletal disorders. Holding a Doctor of Philosophy from Western University, she is cross-appointed to the Department of Medical Biophysics. She supervises graduate students in the Bone and Joint Institute at the Lawson Health Research Institute and is currently available for academic mentorship and doctoral research inquiries.
