Associate Professor Brent Lanting serves in the Department of Surgery at Western University. His research integrates joint replacement, orthopedic outcomes, and hip and knee arthroplasty to investigate the longevity and performance of prosthetic implants. He specifically focuses on the impact of implant design and surgical technique on patient satisfaction and functional recovery. Having earned a Medical Degree from Western University, he is an active researcher in the Bone and Joint Institute. He supervises graduate students in the field of clinical research and orthopedic engineering and is currently available for doctoral mentorship and student inquiries regarding musculoskeletal reconstruction.
