Associate Professor François Poiré, Department of French Studies and in Linguistics at Western University, works to to connect sound structure, speech style, and language pedagogy through close analysis of contemporary French pronunciation. He researches French linguistics, phonetics and sociophonetics, prosodic phonology, second-language teaching.
