Professor Rennian Wang is a member of the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology at Western University. Her research centers on islet biology and the molecular mechanisms of pancreatic development and regeneration. She investigates the role of stem cells and growth factors in preventing and treating diabetes. Her mission is to advance metabolic health through the study of cellular signaling and tissue engineering. Dr. Wang provides extensive research supervision for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. She is a recognized expert in endocrine research and has contributed significantly to the understanding of beta-cell function and insulin regulation.
