Associate Professor Monidipa Dasgupta, Department of Medicine, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, leads scholarship in delirium, hospital care of the elderly, geriatric medicine, patient safety, and quality improvement. Her work focuses on improving hospital care for older adults through safer, more respectful, and mobility-supporting models of practice. Her research mission is to make acute care systems work better for frail older patients. She is actively involved in teaching residents and medical students and serves on the Geriatric Fellowship Committee. In addition, her leadership on the No-HARRMS initiative has been recognized with a patient safety award.
