Associate Professor Francisco Perera, Department of Oncology, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, is a radiation oncology researcher whose work centres on clinical trials, breast cancer, gastrointestinal malignancies, radiation oncology, and translational cancer care. His research mission is to improve treatment evidence and patient outcomes through the design and completion of collaborative clinical trials, especially in breast and gastrointestinal cancers. He is also a Radiation Oncologist at the Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre and is identified by Western University as an experienced collaborator in multicentre breast cancer trials within major oncology research networks.
