BIO
Associate Professor Sashko Damjanovski, Department of Biology, Western University, studies developmental biology, extracellular matrix remodelling, matrix metalloproteinases, cell migration, and invasion assays. His research examines how extracellular environments shape development and disease-related cellular behaviour, using molecular biology, three-dimensional cell culture, and imaging-based approaches. His research mission is to clarify how remodelling processes regulate normal development and pathological change. He is also an Associate Scientist at the Children’s Health Research Institute and contributes to teaching and supervision in developmental and molecular biology at Western University.
