Award-winning Professor O. Remus Tutunea-Fatan, Ph.D, is Associate Chair for Graduate Research Programs, Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering at Western University. He is a mechanical engineer licensed by Professional Engineers Ontario and has over eight years of direct experience in the manufacturing industry. Tutunea-Fatan is also working for National Research Council of Canada (2016 - 2028). His research connects design, manufacturing, and analysis to create high-quality functional surfaces and improve high-volume production methods for advanced materials and engineered parts. He also contributes strongly to teaching and graduate leadership.
