Professor David Sanders conducts research in the Department of Surgery at Western University. His scholarly work emphasizes orthopedic trauma, clinical epidemiology, and fracture healing, focusing on the evaluation of surgical treatments for complex injuries. He investigates the effectiveness of different fixation methods and the prevention of infection following major bone trauma. Holding a Medical Degree from Western University and a Master of Science, he is a core member of the Bone and Joint Institute. He supervises graduate students in the field of health research methodology and is currently available for doctoral student mentorship and research inquiries regarding musculoskeletal injury.
