BIO
Professor Lisa Archibald serves as Director in the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Western University. Her research integrates developmental language disorder, working memory, and pedagogical interventions to support children with communication challenges. She focuses on the interaction between cognitive processing and language learning in classroom settings. Having earned her Doctor of Philosophy from Durham University, UK, she is a member of the Western Institute for Neuroscience and is cross-appointed to the Department of Psychology. She supervises graduate students in the Language and Working Memory Laboratory.
