Professor Roberta Flemming serves in the Department of Earth Sciences at Western University. Her research integrates mineralogy, planetary science, X-ray diffraction, NMR spectroscopy and alied methods to investigate the composition and history of terrestrial and extraterrestrial materials. She focuses on using mineral structures to reconstruct the conditions under which rocks and meteorites formed. Having earned a Doctor of Philosophy from Queen's University, she is the Director of the Micro X-ray Diffraction Lab in Earth Sciences and a member of the Institute for Earth and Space Exploration. She supervises graduate research in geology and is she currently available for doctoral mentorship.
