Professor Barbara J. Fisher, Department of Oncology, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, is a radiation oncology researcher whose work emphasizes biomarkers, gastrointestinal cancer, brain cancer, translational research, and image-guided radiation treatment. Her research mission is to connect radiation oncology with biomarker-driven and translational approaches that improve precision and outcomes in cancer care. She is also a Radiation Oncologist at the Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre and a Scientist at London Health Sciences Research Institute, bringing clinical and research expertise together within Western University’s translational cancer community.
