Associate Professor Laura L. Diachun serves in the Department of Medicine at Western University. Her research focuses on geriatric medicine and medical education, specifically investigating the development of geriatric competencies in medical students. She evaluates inter-professional training models to improve the care of frail elderly populations. Her mission is to foster a healthcare workforce capable of meeting the complex needs of aging patients through evidence-based education. Dr. Diachun provides clinical supervision and is a lead in geriatric undergraduate education. She is dedicated to improving the longitudinal care of seniors through clinical scholarship and advocacy.
