Associate Professor William R. Leeper, Department of Medicine with appointment in Surgery, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, is a critical care and surgery scholar whose Western University profile emphasizes simulation, ultrasound, trauma, medical education, and patient safety. He has a strong interest in high-fidelity simulation to identify latent threats to patient safety and improve team-based crisis resource management. His research mission is to make acute and critical care safer by refining how clinicians train, respond, and work together under pressure.
