Professor Lorne J. Gula, Department of Medicine, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, is a cardiology researcher and clinician whose work centres on electrophysiology, arrhythmia management, cardiac rhythm disorders, cardiology, and clinical outcomes. He is a cardiologist specializing in arrhythmia management and list electrophysiology as his research specialization. His research mission is to improve the diagnosis and treatment of abnormal heart rhythms through specialized cardiac care and academic investigation. He also teaches within cardiology and holds a cross-appointment in Epidemiology and Biostatistics, strengthening the analytic side of his scholarly work.
