Professor Gabriel E. DiMattia, Department of Biochemistry with appointments in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Oncology, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, leads research in translational ovarian cancer, cancer biology, tumour progression, biomarkers, and translational oncology. He is Interim Director of the Cancer Research Laboratory Program and a leader of the Translational Ovarian Cancer Research Group, which focuses on making ovarian cancer more treatable through laboratory and clinical collaboration. His research mission is to move discovery toward better diagnosis and treatment for ovarian cancer. He also supervises trainees in a highly collaborative cancer research environment.
