Professor Arthur Brown is situated in the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology at Western University. His research specializes in spinal cord injury, neuroregeneration, and glial scar formation, focusing on therapeutic strategies to promote nerve repair. He works to understand the molecular signals that inhibit axonal growth following central nervous system trauma. Holding a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Toronto, he is a scientist at the Robarts Research Institute and a member of the Western Institute for Neuroscience. He supervises graduate students in the field of regenerative medicine and is currently available for doctoral student mentorship and collaborative research on neural repair.
