Associate Professor Jean Théberge is situated in the Department of Medical Biophysics and the Department of Psychiatry at Western University. His research specializes in magnetic resonance spectroscopy, neurochemistry, and schizophrenia, focusing on the measurement of brain metabolites in psychiatric disorders. He works to understand how neurochemical imbalances contribute to the symptoms and progression of mental illness. Holding a Doctor of Philosophy from Western University, he is a scientist at the Lawson Health Research Institute and a member of the Western Institute for Neuroscience. He supervises graduate research in the field of neuroimaging and is currently available for doctoral mentorship.
