Professor David Holdsworth is situated in the Department of Medical Biophysics and the Department of Surgery at Western University. His research specializes in musculoskeletal imaging, vascular biomechanics, and x-ray micro-computed tomography, focusing on the quantification of bone and joint structural health. He works to develop advanced imaging techniques to assess the performance of orthopedic implants and the progression of arthritis. Holding a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Toronto, he is a scientist at the Robarts Research Institute and a member of the Bone and Joint Institute. He supervises diverse projects in biomedical engineering and is available for doctoral mentorship.
