BIO

Professor Margaret Campbell-Brown serves in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Western University. Her research integrates meteor physics, planetary science, and radar observation to study the flux and composition of meteoroids entering Earth's atmosphere. She focuses on developing models that describe the ablation and fragmentation of small space debris. Having earned a Doctor of Philosophy from Western University, she is a member of the Institute for Earth and Space Exploration. She teaches courses in physics and astronomy while supervising graduate students in planetary science, and she is currently available for academic mentorship and doctoral student supervision.
