Professor Peter Chidiac conducts research in the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology at Western University. His scholarly work emphasizes molecular pharmacology, G-protein signaling, and drug receptor interactions, focusing on the regulation of heart and brain function. He investigates the biochemical pathways that govern how cells respond to hormones and therapeutic drugs. Holding a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Toronto, he is an affiliate of the Bone and Joint Institute. He teaches courses in endocrine and cardiovascular pharmacology while supervising graduate students in the field of cellular signaling, and he is currently available for doctoral student mentorship and student inquiries.
