Professor Ravi Menon is a world-renowned researcher in the Department of Medical Biophysics at Western University. His work focuses on ultra-high field MRI, functional neuroimaging, and multiple sclerosis, notably pioneering the use of 7-Tesla magnets for brain research. He seeks to uncover the early biomarkers of neurodegenerative diseases through high-resolution structural and functional imaging. A Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, he holds a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Alberta and is a scientist at the Robarts Research Institute. He supervises graduate researchers in the Western Institute for Neuroscience and is available for doctoral mentorship.
