Associate Professor Brian Allman is a researcher in the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology at Western University. His primary investigative work centers on sensory systems, hearing loss, and cross-modal plasticity with a focus on how the brain adapts to auditory deprivation. He seeks to understand how noise-induced hearing loss influences multisensory integration and cognitive function in aging populations. Holding a Doctor of Philosophy from Western University, he is a member of the Western Institute for Neuroscience.
