Description of Clinical Activities: Dr. Driman’s main areas of clinical activity are in gastrointestinal, liver and pancreatic pathology. He has worked extensively with the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer (CPAC) and Cancer Care Ontario (CCO) on guideline development in several areas of gastrointestinal pathology and chaired the CPAC Working Group on guidelines for colorectal polyp reporting. He is the current CCO Regional Pathology Lead for SW Ontario, Chair of the CPAC Colorectal Cancer Expert Panel and the Canadian representative on the College of American Pathologist’s Gastrointestinal Cancer Protocol Review Panel.

Description of Research Activities: Dr. Driman is involved in clinically oriented and collaborative research related to gastrointestinal, hepatic and pancreaticobiliary pathology, with a focus on colorectal cancer. He is also active in research pertaining to education.Educational Activities

Description of Educational Activities: Dr. Driman is the past director of the UWO Anatomical Pathology Residency Program and past Chair of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Anatomical Pathology Examination Board. He is a recipient of the UWO Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry Postgraduate Award of Excellence in Education, the Department of Pathology Award for Resident Teaching and the Canadian Association of Pathologists Leadership in Education Award.
