BIO
Professor Eva Turley, Department of Biochemistry, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, leads research on hyaluronic acid, hyaluronic acid receptors, tissue reconstruction, signaling, and mesenchymal and adipose derived stem cells. Her work examines how extracellular matrix biology and cell signaling shape tissue repair, regeneration, and disease-related remodeling. Her research mission is to clarify how hyaluronan-driven mechanisms can be harnessed for better reconstruction and translational therapies. She also supervises graduate research through Western University’s surgery graduate program, reflecting a strong commitment to mentorship alongside her biochemical research.
