BIO

Professor Fiona Webster conducts research in the School of Nursing at Western University. Her scholarly work focuses on critical qualitative research, chronic pain, and health services, particularly the experiences of patients navigating complex medical systems. She investigates the social organization of healthcare and the impact of institutional policies on the management of musculoskeletal conditions. Holding a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Toronto, she is a member of the Bone and Joint Institute. She teaches courses on qualitative methodology and supervises graduate researchers exploring health equity and social justice in nursing and clinical practice.
