Lauren Tribe, BSc (Biochemistry), BESc (Biochemical Eng.), PhD (Chemical Eng.), is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering and in Biomedical Engineering at Western University.
Dr. Tribe’s research interests include particulate technologies and engineering education.
Dr. Tribe has over two decades of experience as an educator, researcher and advocate for equity, diversity and inclusion in engineering. Dr. Tribe is a long-standing member of, and Chair of Ontario Network of Women in Engineering (ONWiE), and has held leadership roles throughout Western Engineering, including Assistant Dean of first-year studies and Associate Chair of undergraduate studies for Chemical and Biochemical Engineering.
She is also a member of Canadian Engineering Education Association (CEEA) and is a Warden of Camp 11.
