BIO
I joined Western Libraries as Research and Instructional Services Librarian in 2007, working primarily with Psychology and Management & Organizational Studies. I then worked as Teaching and Learning Librarian, initiating the development of Information Literacy Learning Outcomes for Western Libraries and partnering with the Centre for Teaching and Learning on curriculum and faculty development. When the libraries reorganized, I moved into the role of Head, Teaching and Learning, where I had the privilege of leading a passionate group of educators as they teach online and face-to-face through individual consultations and classes of all sizes. I am now serving Western Libraries in a new role, as Interim Associate Chief Librarian, Planning and am engaged in leadership of system-wide projects and work, including collaborating with colleagues on our strategic directions.
