Dr, Miodrag (Mike) Grbic' is Associate Professor of Biology at Western University, and Visiting Professor at the University of La Rioja, Spain. He is leading leader of the Genomics in Agricultural Pest Management consortium.
Dr. Grbic' obtained BS and MsC degrees in Entomology from the University of Novi Sad (Yugosolavia/Serbia). As a Fulbright fellow, he completed his Ph.D. degree in Developmental Biology and Entomology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Following his postdoctoral degree at the University of Cambridge (Wellcome Trust Institute) as a Human Frontier in Science postdoctoral fellow, he established his laboratory at Western University.
Dr. Grbic was awarded the Premier's Research Excellence Award in 2000, Marie Curie Incoming International Fellowship (EU), serves as section editor of journal Arthropod Structure and Development and is one of the founders of biotech company Nanomitech.
