Professor Jinfei Wang serves in the Department of Geography and Environment at Western University. Her research program integrates remote sensing, digital image processing, and geomatics to monitor urban growth and environmental changes. She specifically focuses on the application of high-resolution satellite imagery for land cover classification and hazard assessment. Having earned a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Waterloo, she is a member of the Institute for Earth and Space Exploration. She provides expert supervision for graduate students exploring spatial data analysis and is currently available for doctoral mentorship and inquiries regarding the integration of remote sensing and geographic information systems.
