Assistant Professor Jennifer C. Ingrey works in the Teacher Education Program at Western University, specializing in equity and social justice. Her research investigates school spaces and the subjectivities of transgender and gender-nonconforming youth. By utilizing keywords such as transgender studies, school spaces, and gendered subjectivities, she explores how disruptive pedagogies can rethink marginalizing social norms. Dr. Ingrey’s mission is to support students in providing critically informed and research-based service to diverse populations. She teaches educational foundations and supervises graduate students. Previously a writing specialist at King's University College, she holds a Doctor of Philosophy from Western University.
