Assistant Professor Michael F Dove, Department of History, Faculty of Social Science, Western University, works in public history, Canadian history, maritime history, globalization, and organizational history. His research mission is to connect historical scholarship with public audiences through teaching, community partnerships, and place-based interpretation. He teaches Canadian history and maritime history and has also taught globalization and organizational behaviour. A Western University teaching highlight is the Vice-Provost Award for Excellence in Collaborative Teaching for leadership in public history education.
