Professor Andrew Nelson is situated in the Department of Anthropology at Western University. His research specializes in biological anthropology, paleopathology, and bioarchaeology, focusing on the health and lifestyles of ancient populations. He works to reconstruct the biographies of mummified individuals using non-destructive imaging techniques such as computed tomography. Having earned a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of California, Los Angeles, he is a member of the Bone and Joint Institute. He provides expert supervision for graduate students exploring human skeletal biology and is currently available for doctoral mentorship and collaborative research projects in archaeological science.
