Professor Gregory Gloor conducts research in the Department of Biochemistry at Western University. His scholarly work emphasizes bioinformatics, microbiome, and compositional data analysis, particularly regarding the interaction between microbial communities and human health. He investigates the development of robust statistical methods to interpret high-throughput sequencing data in complex biological systems. Holding a Doctor of Philosophy from Western University, he is a member of the Bone and Joint Institute. He teaches graduate seminars on computational biology and supervises researchers exploring the human microbiome in health and disease, and he is currently available for doctoral mentorship and consultation.
