Jonathan S. Boulter, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Department of English and Writing Studies at Western University, and also serves within Comparative Literature and the Centre for the Study of Theory and Criticism. Professor Boulter researches twentieth-century literature, contemporary literature, Samuel Beckett, and the broader study of modern fiction. His research mission is to investigate how modern and contemporary writing stages memory, subjectivity, and literary form across changing cultural contexts. His many scholarly contributions in the fields of 20th-century literature, theory, and cultural studies was recognized with the Graham and Gale Wright Distinguished Scholar Award.
