Professor Michael Strong is a prominent researcher in the Department of Clinical Neurological Sciences at Western University. His primary investigative work centers on amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, neurodegeneration, and protein aggregation to uncover the molecular pathogenesis of motor neuron disease. He seeks to understand how cellular inclusions and RNA-binding proteins contribute to neuronal death.
