BIO

Professor Peter Brown is situated in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Western University. His research specializes in meteors, planetary science, and radar astronomy, focusing on the physical properties and orbital evolution of small bodies in the solar system. He works to understand the hazards posed by meteoroids and the history of material transport in space. Holding a Doctor of Philosophy from Western University, he is a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair and a member of the Institute for Earth and Space Exploration. He supervises students in the Meteor Physics Group and is currently available for doctoral mentorship.
