BIO

Professor Timothy Scholl serves in the Department of Medical Biophysics at Western University. His research integrates molecular imaging, magnetic resonance spectroscopy, and imaging cancer metabolism to develop sensitive methods for detecting tumor progression. He focuses on utilizing hyperpolarized metabolic probes to visualize biochemical changes in vivo, providing a non-invasive window into disease states. Holding a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics from the Western University, he is a scientist at the Robarts Research Institute. He supervises graduate students exploring the physics of magnetic resonance imaging and is currently available for research consultation.
