I am Anishinaabe Kwe, Bear Clan, from Sagamok Anishnawbek First Nation.

I am an Indigenous Education specialist with 30+ years experience as an educator and leader in the areas of ESL, anti-racism, equity, diversity and inclusion. I earned my doctorate at Western University where I am now an Assistant Professor in both the B.Ed. and Ed.D. programs.

Outside of teaching, I am also very proud to be an author and Indigenous education consultant for several award-winning series by Rubicon Publishing including Turtle Island Voices, Issues 21, Big Idea, BoldPrint Inquiry and MathUP.
