Daniel Kpienbaareh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography at Illinois State University. He has research experience in human-environment interactions and their impacts on socio-ecological systems. He also employs social science theories to identify policy alternatives to environmental challenges. Kpienbaareh is a research team member in the Multidimensional Approach to Building Urban Climate Resilience in Slums (MABUCRIS) and the PARTAKE Africa research project at Western University's Faculty of Social Science.
